About Steve Sult

As a student, Steve was fascinated by woodcuts and fondly remembers endless hours trying to replicate the intricate Japanese style. His design heroes included the artists behind the WPA's poster campaign in the 1930s, because of their unusual color combinations.

Today, Steve has refined this style created early in his career. Technology has provided an easier and far cleaner way to create each image via a digital print. But it hasn’t changed the truth that, beyond its basic temporal content, a poster captures an event in time and makes it live forever.
