Every 9 seconds, a woman in the U.S. is beaten or assaulted by a current or ex-significant other. 1 in 4 men are victims of some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. Created in 2019 for Domestic Abuse Awareness Month remember that the entire month of October is dedicated to bringing awareness to the issue of domestic violence. My art in a small way is a call to action meant to bring attention to the issues by taking a stand until society has zero tolerance for domestic violence and until all victims and survivors can be heard.
