Peace and a Kind Word
Updated: Aug 21
As 2019 closes out, the holidays remind me of how lucky I am for all of the support I’ve received this year. I’m grateful for my family and friends, and for the opportunities over the past year. For that I thank each of you. Mostly, I’m recognizing the power of a kind word when people could use a helping hand; and promoting a sense of community when people are kind to those who need help. "Peace and a Kind Word" to me means focusing and noticing when others are suffering. A kind word, a smile, opening a door, or helping carry a heavy load can all be acts of kindness. Please don’t forget that a kind word can speak power into someone’s life. It can inspire. It can motivate. And it can provide strength to someone who can’t find it within themselves.
In this season of reflection and giving, may kindness continue in your heart, your actions, your words and your hope for making the world united in shaping a kinder, more peaceful and a magnificent place to live and grow. Happy New Year - Steve
